 Note: A weekly assignment sheet is also posted in class, and daily class activities and assignments are written on the board and discussed everyday.  It remains the students' responsibility to copy assignments from the board into their agenda and to understand the assignment’s instructions.  Problems with this website or changes in lesson plans during the school day do not constitute a valid excuse for failing to complete a homework assignment.

     d.    -->Part IV - Then ask “What analysis ideas match the “point” of their particular Civil War story?”

     -Think about “roles” – but there’s flexibility with how a “role” can portray other quotes

      -Use quote packet to took for quotes that support your topic (look for approx  8-10 quotes – copy down, or otherwise note chosen quotes – quote packet on my website)

     ·  Powerful Narrative & Visual Story – Show a slide to illustrate a candid snapshot pose (emphasizing those people have stories to tell) --> discuss importance/power of props/costumes)

     ·  Show Top of CW Tableau Script Format – have groups copy, determine Roles/Costumes/Snapshot (format entire top section)

           Focus: first narrator partread directions and samples --> groups write 1st paragraph;

           Read directions for transitions: Look at Quotes: determine a logical order/ pick the first quote; Read samples of transitions;  

          Go over rest of directions --> group writes, either together or divide up outline.

        Prepare for HW:  Divide up outline left to write, divide up quotes that need to be inserted.
