Hello, and welcome to my website! I am Allan Tomlinson, a teacher and coach at Torrey Pines High School. Teaching for 23 years, I have had terrific students and I'm glad to say that it is now my 14th year teaching here at Torrey Pines. Besides teaching Honors Geometry and Statistics, I am an assistant on the Varsity Football team.  With 21 years of experience coaching football, I enjoy and share a great passion for sports. Before becoming a teacher, I attended UNLV in 1982 on a football scholarship to receive my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and later received a Masters Degree in Mathematics at Vanderbilt University in 1991. Besides my college life during those years, I was a USAF Air Traffic Control Officer from 1985-1989. Aside from the school life, I am proud to be married to my wife, Jeane since 1989, and am a proud parent of boy and girl fraternal twin children.
