Course Description: This is a college preparatory mathematics course.  It will integrate the study of functions and their graphs, systems of equations, sequences and series, probability, and statistics.  We will also be exploring various problem solving situations that will pull from a range of skills.  I will be incorporating technology, hands-on activities, direct lecture, and real-world applications to enhance student learning.

 Classroom Policy: Students are expected to:

• Be on time.
• Bring their materials to class.
• Show respect to everyone in the class.
• Work with others.
• Work throughout the entire period.
• Ask questions and always give their best effort.

 Class Materials:  Every day, students are suggested to bring the following:

• Graph paper and pencil (work must always be done on graph paper and in pencil).
• Notebook containing past homework, classwork, activities, and notes.
• A pen for grading.
• I highly recommend students use a scientific calculator.
