Course Description: This is a college preparatory math course. Students actively participate in the process of problem solving and working collaboratively and individually.  This class will incorporate the study of polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs, limits, differentiation, and integration.  We will also be exploring various problem solving situations that will pull from a range of skills.  I will be incorporating technology, hands-on activities, direct lecture, and real-world applications to enhance student learning.

Classroom Policy: Students are expected to:

• Be on time.
• Bring their materials to class.
• Show respect to everyone in the class.
• Work with others.
• Work throughout the entire period.
• Ask questions and always give their best effort.

Class Materials:  Every day, students are suggested to bring the following:

• Pre-Calculus book
• Graph paper and pencil (work should be done in pencil).
• Graphing/Scientific Calculator
• Notebook containing notes, past homework, and activities.
• A pen for grading.
