SMET2 Official Rules 2010-2011 Each team is responsible for one of the 14 sections of the SMET2 Project. Each section must have all six (6) of the simple machines (lever, wheel and axle, incline plane, screw, wedge, and pulley). Only Team #1 may touch their device in order to start the energy transfer from one section of the SMET2 to the next along a predetermined path (see design brief below table). The final action that the section built by Team #11 must accomplish is to raise a flag that says "SMET ROCKS!!" to a height of three (3) feet.
