What am I supposed to do when I’m absent?

You’re in luck!
Here’s a checklist for math class absences!
□ Get notes from a study buddy for the day you were absent. Check in with your teacher before or after class if you have any questions
□ Turn in any homework that was due on the day you were absent in the tray in the back of the room. Remember to write absent on it.
□ Get the homework that was assigned the day you were absent. You have one grace day to turn this in (you must use the methods from your notes!). Remember you have your study buddy and the homework website to find out what the homework was. If the homework was a worksheet, ask your teacher for a copy of it before or after class.
□ Arrange with the teacher to make up any quiz or test you might have missed as quickly as possible. Be ready to take it the day you return.
□ Ask a study buddy if there were any other announcements that you should know about.
Keep in mind that this checklist is for a single absence. If you were absent for more than one day in a row, do the all of the above for each day!
