This is a wonderful recipe for salmon
Ingredients:
- Fresh Salmon
- 2 - 3 Lemons
- 1 - 2 oz. Ginger root
- 1 - 2 oz. Soy sauce
- Pepper and Salt
Preparation
- About an hour in advance of dinner place the cleaned
salmon in a shallow pan.
- Juice the lemons and pour over the salmon.
- Add about an oz. of soy sauce to the fish/juice.
- Grate a small amount of ginger root. (approx. 1/2 oz.)
- Cover the pan and put in a cool place.
- Prepare more grated ginger root. This will be added to
the fish latter on in the cooking process
Cooking
- Before cooking add water to a depth of 1/2 the thickness
of the salmon.
- Cook the salmon in a large skillet over a medium flame.
- Half way through the cooking process, 3 - 5 minutes, add
some of the ginger, salt, and pepper and flip the salmon
over.
- Place the remainder of the ginger, salt, and pepper to
the exposed side of the salmon.

The salmon goes great if it is served in a bed of steamed
asparagus and sliced steamed carrots.
