Classroom Procedures
Rules:
Be prepared
for class everyday.
Follow
directions and pay attention.
Be
respectful to everyone in the class (students, visitors, etc.).
Always give
your best effort.
No
headphones in class.
Cell phones:
Students are not allowed to use a cell phone during class.
There have been students that have been known to text message each
other answers during class. The phone also causes a distraction
if it is continuously going off during the class. If the phone
becomes an issue in class I will confiscate the phone and contact the
student's parent or guardian to address the issue.
Bathroom pass:
On a
piece of paper on the wall in the back of the room.
It has the date and my signature on it. You need to put your name and the time on it and then you may
go. If the pass is there be my
guest, if it is not there then wait for it to return. There
is only one so don’t take too long.

Assignments:
Classwork: Work we will do everyday in class that is due
before you leave class. This will be graded
on a scale of 5 points. Your grade will be
based on how well you did and how much you accomplished.
Quizzes: There will be approximately 2 of these for every
test. This way we can see how you are doing
and if you are ready for the test.
Test: Usually one for every chapter. We will always have a good review session the
class before and then at the beginning of class before the test.
Homework:
We will have homework almost everyday. It is due the next class period.
It will be graded on effort not right or wrong. You will have one week
to get it turned in but it will be worth one point less if it is not
turned in on time. After one week you may not make up the homework.
Books:
Student in the Geometry class will be expected to bring their
book everyday. The Algebra Readiness
class has a class set, so they don't need to bring their books to
school.
