Text Box: Have you ever wondered what it takes to design and build a house or commercial building? Civil Engineering and Architecture will show students how engineers and architects work together in order to design and build structures that are safe and beautiful. Students will learn about site selection, soils, and stresses that effect the final look of a structure, then will use the latest computer aided drafting and design (CADD) software to design and model their own building designs. This course fulfills the Practical Arts high school graduation requirement.
