What is Engineering? Do you like Math & Science?

Principles of Engineering is a year-long class where students learn about different careers in engineering, explore various engineering systems, experience how math and science are used in solving engineering problems, and see how new innovations are developed.

Students will also learn about the tools that engineers use to benefit people and societies, and learn how technological change can cause social and political problems. Students will get to design and build models in order to solve basic engineering problems.

Note: This class has been approved for UC/CSU "G-elective" credit, and fulfills the Practical Arts high school graduation requirement.
