The young Mavericks left
everything on the court Saturday night, Nov. 24, vs. Lakewood in an amazing, emotional,
hard-fought SoCal quarterfinal match. Lakewood held off the Mavs in the
exciting fifth game to move on to the SoCal Finals,
28-26, 18-25, 11-25, 25-20, 21-19.
Lakewood goes on to win SoCal Regional,
3-1, over Buchanon;
then the California championship,
3-1, over Nevada Union.
