Lady Mavs Sweep State Finals
The Lady Mavs represented LCC and the
northern San Dieguito communities on the state and national stage by cruising to
a 3-0 state championship victory over Cupertino Homestead, Dec. 6, 2008, at UC
Irvine. The Mavericks persevered through numerous injuries during the
season and especially the playoffs, winning the California Division I title and
being named the national champion on the strength of an amazingly balanced team.
Congratulations Mavericks!!
