SSS Club Member Guidelines

1. All members of the Surf Club or Team must be full time students at the school the team represents.

2. All members of the Club or Team must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point
average to participate in SSS competitions. At the coach’s discretion, as an
incentive to put more effort into their studies, students whose grades fall below
the minimum GPA of 2.0 may be allowed to participate in practices, however,
they will not be permitted to compete in the competitions until they bring their
grades up to the required minimum of 2.0.

3. All members of the Surf Club or Team must have a good attendance pattern. Members with excessive absences or tardies will be dropped from the team. (Excessive tardies means you get to Tier 3. Members can surf with the team again once they drop to Tier 2. See the LCC Attendance Policy.)

4. Membership in the Surf Club or Team is open to all students at the school who meet the above criteria. Students involved in the club or team will have the opportunity to participate in SSS competitions.

5. All those wishing to participate in the Surf Club or Team will be required to join the SSS.
