Hands
"Get a Grip"
 

You've got all sorts of possibilities here, from your own hands to your neighbors', to your parents' or siblings'. Gloved or bare, working in the garden or playing a violin, the possibilities are endless. It's creating a little piece of art with the hand that's the challenge.

     
     
Objective: To compose five unique photographs that highlight this assignment's theme: "Hands"

 
     

Procedure:

   Walk around campus, your neighborhood, anywhere you think that you may find suitable subjects.

For this assignment, image editing techniques are allowed, so long as they do not affect the overall integrity of image. Removing imperfections and minor distracting elements from images is permitted, but creating or moving major elements of your photograph is not. In other words, DO NOT MAKE THE PHOTO INTO AN ABSTRACT!

Grading:

You will be graded on: 

  • Submitted required # of photos (5pts)

  • Creativity (5 pts)

  • Quality of images that you produce. (5 pts)

           Total Possible:        15 Points

 
     

Be creative and do your best work. Each image needs to be inserted into PowerPoint, one photo per slide with a critique of each photo in the notes section of each slide (total of six slides INCLUDING title slide with your name and class period), and submit to on my thumb drive.
