As CLN team members, your role will be to explain how cloning can benefit humans through better medications. You are concerned with government regulation of this technology. Your group needs to determine who will take on the following responsibilities:
Group Tasks Team Leader
Internet Research Team
Library Research Team
Writing Team
Presentation Engineer
Presenters
What are the public values and beliefs that underlie cloning and might create a bias one way or the other on the value of cloning?
Explain how cloning can advance the development of drug therapies to combat disease.

Research diseases that would benefit from cloning research?

What are the possible financial benefits of cloning technology?

How can genetic engineering make use of cloning technology?

Create two more questions that your group feels are critical to the success of your project, and answer them.

You must now present your Special Report to the senate sub-committee in the form of a brief (10 to 15 minute) informational summary of your findings. Create a detailed plan on how the senate should proceed. Remember, not everyone understands cloning and there exists many misconceptions about it.
Prioritize what you think the most important issues are. This will take some detailed and supported discussion among team members.

Identify the two or three most important issues.

Develop a main strategy that addresses these top two - three issues.

Order a series of steps that shows the Action Plan you suggest Seaside should take.

Explain where compromises took place and why you made the decisions you did. For example, if you choose to promote business investment, show why this is more important than focusing first on the effects on the environment.

Create an informative and engaging presentation of your "Special Report." You can do this with Power Point and/or butcher paper diagrams and charts.
