Unit homework assignment: answer chapter question handouts for each chapter. Be able to identify political, social, economic, religious, native American and foreign relations themes.  Unit homework assignments are due to the teacher on the day of exams. No late work is accepted.  Make-up exams and homework, due to absence, must to be completed within the week of your return.

Journal assignment: Zinn, A People’s History – 3 of the first 11 chapters.  See this Syllabus for relevant chapters and due dates.  A copy is due to the teacher and to Turnitin.com on the due dates. One page for each chapter entry – synopsis and critique. Look for Zinn’s thesis and how he uses historical evidence to support it.  Journal assignments will be submitted to Turnitin.com.
