Mr. Dave Fleischman Mr. Dave Fleischman is an instructor for Physics, Honors Physics, and AP Physics B. He had a BS in Ocean Engineering from US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, a MS in Computer Science from Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and a MS in Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. "Teaching at TPHS," Mr. Fleischman said, "is like returning to my own high school years!" Students' enthusiasm makes teachers passionate about what they do. He appreciates his supportive colleagues who help him through some rough times. He had taught at Spring Valley Middle School from 1996 to 1998 and continued pursuing his teaching career at Torrey Pines High School. One of his hobbies is football officiating. Mr. William Harvie Mr. William S. Harvie teaches Honors Physics and AP Physics C. In 1980, Mr. Harvie completed his masters in Earth Science from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD. In 1982, he earned a Masters Degree in Physics from UCLA.
